Sunflower oil is one of the top four vegetable oils in terms of global consumption (after palm oil, soybean oil and rapeseed oil). It is highly favored by the healthy diet market because of its rich vitamin E, high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids and high smoke point. The main producing countries include Ukraine, Russia, Argentina, the European Union, etc. In recent years, Uzbekistan is gradually becoming an important sunflower oil producer in Central Asia.
