Basic Information
The soybean oil processing plant consists of soybean pretreatment, soybean oil solvent extraction, soybean oil refining and soybean oil packaging. Speaking of soybeans, I believe everyone is familiar with them. Soybeans are very common oil crops in people's daily lives. They often appear in the form of soy products such as soy milk, tofu and bean skin. They can also be processed into soy sauce and sauce products. In addition, soybeans are the main source of edible vegetable oils and vegetable proteins. The oil content in soybeans is between 15% and 22%, which is much lower than the oil content of peanuts and rapeseed. However, the protein content of soybeans ranges from 35% to 50%. Soybean meal from which soybean oil has been extracted can be separated into soybean protein, so it plays an important role in the grain and oil industry.
Soybean Oil Processing Technology
There are two common soybean oil processing technologies: pressing and leaching. Currently, the leaching process is the most widely used processing technology for producing soybean oil. The oil content of soybeans is relatively low, about 20%. The pressing method cannot fully extract the oil in soybeans, and the residual oil rate in the soybean cake is high, which reduces the oil yield and affects the quality of the soybean cake. The leaching process can fully extract soybean oil, and the residual oil rate can be controlled at about 0.5%, which increases the oil yield. The soybean meal after leaching can also be used in soybean protein extraction, animal feed and other industries.
Many consumers cannot accept the beany smell of soybean oil itself. In addition, the burnt or white clay smell formed during production affects the flavor of the edible oil. Therefore, it is necessary to use the deodorization process of refining equipment to remove this part of the "odor" so that soybean oil can meet the tastes of the general public.
