Palm oil production line

Palm oil is an oil obtained by squeezing the fruit of the oil palm tree (oil palm fruit). Specifically, the pulp and kernel of the oil palm fruit can be used to extract palm oil and palm kernel oil respectively. Palm oil mentioned in daily contexts usually refers specifically to palm oil extracted from the pulp. Palm oil is one of the three major vegetable oils in the world. It not only has a fine texture and a natural taste, but also has a natural antiseptic effect. It is worth mentioning that palm oil has been used as an edible oil for more than 5,000 years.

Palm fruit - sterilization - threshing - crushing - pressing - filtering - crude palm oil

1. Fruit Bunch Receiving Station: When a truck loaded with palm fruit bunches arrives at the factory, it is first weighed on a scale and then driven to the unloading platform, where the bunches are unloaded into the hopper using a ramp.

2. Sterilization and fermentation station : The palm fruit is sent to the sterilizer via the FFB loading conveyor for 1 hour of sterilization. The mixed oil separated during the sterilization process is collected and recovered by the oil collector, and the condensate is pumped to the sewage treatment station.

3. Fruit thresher station : put the palm fruits into the palm fruit thresher to separate the palm fruits from the palm bunches.

4. Crushing and pressing station : The threshed palm fruits enter the mixing tank, and after being crushed, they flow into the palm oil press for pressing. During pressing, the oil-water mixture flows out from the holes on the shell of the pressing chamber, and the fiber cakes and fruit cores are discharged from the top gap and fall into the crushed cake stuffing box.

5. Fiber Cake Shell Kernel Separation Station: After the extruded fiber cake is crushed, it enters the air separation system to effectively separate the fiber from the kernel. The crusher further separates the kernel from the fiber to obtain palm kernel and palm shell. Then, the palm kernel and palm shell are separated by the air separation washing system. The palm shell is sent to the boiler system as fuel, and the palm kernel is stored after drying.

6. Palm oil clarification station : The crude palm oil is first diluted and washed with water, and then goes through sedimentation and filtration processes to remove the fibrous matter in the oil. Then continuous sedimentation is carried out to separate the oil into two parts, oil and sediment, and finally the separation of oil and sediment is completed.

7. Palm kernel recycling station: The pressed palm fiber cake first enters the cake crusher and then enters the air separation system to separate the fiber from the kernel. The kernel is crushed to obtain the shell and kernel, which are then separated by the air separation washing system. The shell is used as boiler fuel, and the kernel is stored after drying.

Palm oil processing technology characteristics

1. Use dry sterilization to reduce the amount of sewage generated, and no sewage treatment equipment is required, thereby reducing costs
2. This process uses non-steam sterilization technology, which greatly reduces energy consumption compared to traditional methods and effectively achieves energy saving.
3. This process makes full use of biomass fuels such as empty fruit bunches, palm kernel shells and other waste generated during the palm oil processing process, and converts them into hot air and steam through combustion to provide power for the entire workshop equipment, thus realizing the recycling of resources.
4. The cake material after pressing has low moisture content and can be used directly as feed raw material without further drying, which improves production efficiency.
5. The squeezed palm oil has a strong aroma, good color and excellent quality, meeting the high standards of the market.
Compared with traditional palm oil processing technology, the new technology equipment occupies a smaller area, especially the sterilization and sewage treatment sections of palm oil refining equipment, which greatly saves space resources.
